Mandatory Training for Seller Managed Pickups - Click Here
- No more than 3 people for pickup - lead and two runners/movers due to 10 person grouping rule in most areas
- Masks worn at all times with either gloves and/or hand sanitizer in support for the pickup team
- Category A all pre-staged lots for easy removal - typically smalls, organized by buyer, ready to be moved. Note: boxing/packing is not a requirement, but may be done at your discretion. Buyers will still be expected to bring what they need to remove their items (i.e. packing materials).
- There should be a location outside (porch, garage, or table) to stage items for pickup while being able to maintain distance. If the weather is bad, a mini tent (or similar) may be required.
- Ensure physical distancing of 2 meters (6.5ft) is enforced
- Buyers will be instructed to remain in car until their STRICT pre-scheduled time slot
- Buyers will be required to wear a face mask that covers their nose and mouth (otherwise they should be sent back to their car to find something or leave and take a refund)
- Communication to buyers is that NOT bringing help is unsafe - no one else can help you safely.
- If buyers must enter the home, all doors are opened so buyers do not need to touch anything but their purchases.
- As a general expectation, be prepared for the arrival of authorities. Communities are on high alert to report COVID-19 infractions, so be prepared to explain how/why what you are doing falls in line with your local regulatory policies around COVID-19.
Post Pickup:
- Sellers will get a survey.
- Did the vast majority of buyers adhere to their scheduled pickup time slot?
- Did the vast majority of buyers respect the safety protocols? (i.e. wore a face covering over nose/mouth, kept 2m (6.5ft) distance, brought appropriate resources, etc.) *
- Overall, did you feel the safety protocols in place for your pickup were sufficient? *
- Please list any buyers we should warn or suspend from bidding due to not adhering the timings and/or safety protocols
- Do you have any additional feedback we should review on how your pickup went and/or how we might do it better?
