As Maxsold adapts to meet current COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, a number of changes will occur in our pick up procedures to ensure the safety of our customers, sellers and team. These changes include:
Longer than normal pickup time windows. Pickups will generally be scheduled for 4 to 8 hour periods and may be scheduled with multiple available days.
Minimum safety requirements. These include a requirement to wear face coverings / masks for nose and mouth while on site, maintaining a 2 meters (6.5ft) distance from others on-site, strict adherence to your scheduled pickup time and a requirement to bring all necessary help, tools and packing materials to remove items.
Successful bidders will be required to select (on a first come first served basis) a pickup time for access to the pickup location. We have created more pickup categories and in some sales will have delivery options. The Pickups for category A and B are typically early, C and D in the middle, and E and F near the end. New pickup category definitions, as well as the addition of new categories (see FAQ) Sign up link will be provided on buyer invoices. Only winning bidders will receive the full address to a location.
If you arrive earlier or later than your scheduled pickup time, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle for social distancing.
If items require assistance to remove, buyers are required to bring their own assistance. No one on site will be allowed to assist in removing any items.
Surveys will be gathered from both Sellers and Buyers regarding adherence to the safety protocols after pickup is completed. Infractions reported will be subject to review and could result in removal from the buying/selling community.
