Sometimes you will be outbid immediately after entering your bid, even though the bid you entered was higher than the current bid. When this happens, you will be notified immediately on the bidding page and given a chance to make another bid.
This happens when another buyer previously placed a MaxBid higher than the amount you just bid. Your bid prompted our automatic bidding system to raise the other buyer's bid above yours.
