Getting Started
Joining Maxsold is quick, free, and easy! Just head to maxsold.com and click Sign Up in the top-right corner. Once you’re registered, you can start browsing and bidding right away.
Please note: a valid credit card is required to place bids.
- How do auctions work on Maxsold?
Each auction runs online for a set period. Simply place your bids before the auction closes. If you’re the highest bidder at the end, the item is yours to pick up from the seller's location! It’s that simple.
Set it and forget it! A max bid lets you tell the system your highest offer. Maxsold will automatically increase your bid only as needed to keep you in the lead, so you never overpay and never miss out.
Before bidding, each auction includes a general location listed by street name (without a specific number) so you know the area before committing to bid. Once the auction closes, your invoice will include the full address along with pickup date and time details.
Winning and Pickup
- How will I know if I’ve won?
You’ll receive an email invoice right after the auction closes. It includes your payment details and pickup information so you can collect your item with ease.
No problem! If it’s not in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. You can also view your invoice anytime by logging in to your Maxsold account.
Pickup information, including address, date, and time, is always listed on your invoice. All pickups are local, making it easy to grab your new finds close to home.
If you can’t make it, you can send someone on your behalf with a copy of your invoice. Please note that sellers can’t hold or ship items unless noted in the auction details.
- What happens if I miss pickup?
Missing pickup may result in forfeiting your items and applicable fees, so be sure to plan ahead. We want you to enjoy your new finds, not miss them.
Questions and Assistance
We’re here for you. If you experience an issue, you can request a review within 60 hours of pickup close by visiting maxsold.com/refund. Our team will review your situation and work with you to find a fair solution.
Each auction lot includes a Q&A feature where you can ask sellers for more information or clarification. While responses aren’t guaranteed, it’s a great way to learn more before placing your bid.
Payments Made Simple
- How do I pay for my items?
Your credit card on file will be automatically charged after the auction closes. This makes checkout fast, secure, and stress-free with no extra steps needed.
Yes. A buyer’s premium of 18% and applicable taxes are added to your total. You’ll see the full amount clearly before confirming your bid.
