Yes, you may request a refund within sixty (60) hours from the end of the scheduled pickup time (or agreed alternative pickup time). This is known as the Refund Period.
However, the best way to resolve any issue is to speak with the on-site seller or MaxSold team member during pickup. If you have concerns about an item:
-
Discuss them on-site before leaving with the item.
-
If an agreement cannot be reached, we recommend that you do not take the item. Taking the item may affect your eligibility for a refund.
To be eligible for a refund:
-
The item must be returned at your expense, unless the seller waives the return.
-
The item must be in the same condition as when it was picked up.
-
The seller must confirm the return.
-
A processing fee will apply unless MaxSold determines there was a material misrepresentation in the listing.
Important Exceptions:
-
No refunds will be issued for items with a winning bid of $50 or less once they’ve been picked up, regardless of the reason.
-
Refunds may be denied if the buyer violates MaxSold’s community standards.
-
MaxSold may extend the Refund Period at its sole discretion, but refunds will not be issued after it ends, unless required by law.
Reminder: The best time to resolve an issue is at pickup. If you have any concerns, please raise them before removing the item from the site.
