When working as a team to catalog an auction using the Maxsold Seller app, it is important that each team member works on clearly defined separate ranges of lot numbers. This will avoid any errors, data loss or duplicated work that may result from multiple people cataloguing different items using the same number.
For example, if you estimate that an auction you are cataloguing will include 90 lots, we would suggest:
With two cataloguers
Person A photographs and describes Lot #1 - Lot #45
Person B photographs and describes Lot #46 - Lot #90
With three cataloguers
Person A photographs and describes Lot #1 - Lot #30
Person B photographs and describes Lot #31 - Lot #60
Person C photographs and describes Lot #61 - Lot #90
If as you catalog you determine that there will be a few additional items, the first cataloger to complete their assigned range can simply add additional lots starting with Lot #91
