Lots can be removed at different stages of your auction, but the process and impact will vary depending on timing:
After publishing (before the auction goes live)
If your auction has been published for review but has not yet gone live, lots can be removed without issue and your auction can be updated prior to launch. If you have a large amount of edits to complete, the support team can revert your catalog back to open so you can complete the edits.
After the auction has gone live
Once your auction is live, removing lots is strongly discouraged. Bidders expect all listed items to remain available, and removing items at this stage can negatively impact bidder confidence and overall auction performance. Fees may apply if a lot is removed after the auction has gone live.
After the auction has closed (item has a winning bidder)
If a lot has received a winning bid, it is expected to be fulfilled. Removing or cancelling a sold lot at this stage may result in additional fees or penalties.
