Each of our auction service types has its own fee structure.
Maxsold Managed:
Covers photography, cataloging, hosting the auction on our website, marketing, handling invoicing and payments, and managing pickup.
30% commission + $2000 flat fee (an initial deposit of $500 is required).
Seller Managed:
The seller is responsible for cataloging, photography, and running the pickup event. Maxsold hosts the auction on maxsold.com, markets your sale, and handles invoicing and payment processing.
Seller Managed auctions are charged at the greater of 30% of the total sale proceeds or a $99 minimum commission.
Your settlement statement provides a detailed breakdown of the commission applied to each lot for full transparency.
