We recommend running your auction for 7 to 11 days to allow enough time for marketing efforts to gain traction and reach the largest possible audience.
Keep in mind that most bidding activity happens on the final day of the auction, but the days leading up to closing are critical for building visibility and attracting bidders.
Additionally, there must be at least 1 full day between the auction closing and the pickup event. This allows time for payment processing and coordination with buyers.
For example, if your auction closes on a Thursday, Friday must remain a non-pickup day, and the earliest pickup can be scheduled is Saturday.
If your timeline permits, we recommend allowing 2 days between closing and pickup to provide extra time for processing buyer payments and ensuring a smoother pickup experience. In the example above, this would mean Friday and Saturday are non-pickup days, with pickup scheduled for Sunday.
